“I find deep satisfaction from the perfection of geometric forms. These paintings explore hard-edge abstraction and the grid using pixelated numbers and dates. In these paintings, a number is a figure in more ways than one. The ambiguity of times and years gives way to the play of color within the proscenium stage of the grid.”

Bolin is graduating this May from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He will be attending the School of Art Institute of Chicago this upcoming fall to receive his Master of Fine Arts. Currently on view at Assurity Life Insurance, located at 2000 Q Street, Lincoln.
